A green city
Ciudad Mayakoba is a green city, thanks to the activities for the sustainable and proper maintenance of green areas, gardens, conservation areas, and biological corridors it possesses. As part of the Comprehensive Vegetation Management Program, we preserve natural vegetation to take care of the environmental services and goods it provides us.”

For Ciudad Mayakoba, sustainability goes beyond environmental care, as the concept also addresses social responsibility and economic development. We integrate a sustainable community through a social and cultural environment that contributes to its development.
As part of the actions of the Social and Cultural Responsibility Program of Ciudad Mayakoba, activities were carried out in coordination with the Municipality of Solidaridad, Quintana Roo, such as three editions of the ‘Kilo Verde’ program, aimed at promoting recycling, which involved the participation of around 100 residents from different condominiums in Ciudad Mayakoba.

The region where we live is exposed to natural phenomena such as hurricanes, tropical storms, or forest fires; but there are also other risks caused by human activity that could harm people’s health or the environment we work so hard to protect. That’s why in Ciudad Mayakoba, we have a Safety and Contingency Response Program, which includes a set of preventive actions and measures aimed at reducing the risks that could cause environmental or health damage during the various stages of projects developed within Ciudad Mayakoba.
